I read approximately a kabillion books last month. I say approximately, because Owen has me trained to either be precise or use disclaimers - no, it's not really 4:30, and no, I will not be there in "just a second." So...approximate kabillion.
Some of the kabillion included Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu (what a great last name!), I Am Princess X by Cherie Priest, Perfectly Good White Boy by the illustrious Carrie Mesrobian (on the older end of YA), all seven of those Amulet books, plus his three yummy Explorer collections, and some other stuff I'm not remembering. Flora and Ulysses is up next - predictably, I idolize Kate DiCamillo and am a little late to the party on her two-years-ago Newbery win. Oh, and there was also The Ranger's Apprentice, and that one by Brandon Mull that wasn't Fablehaven. The one with the hippopotamus.
Reviews to follow soonish (again, approximate - not in just a minute).
