by Angela Thomas
I mean, obviously this is for older kids - MS at least - but so fantastic. Aside from being a painfully timely story and deserving of attention for that reason, Angie Thomas has written a near-perfect character in Starr. Her voice is still in my head, months after finishing the book (yes, Mrs Murray sometimes hears voices. No, you should not let that worry you. I don't think, anyway).
Rating: amazing
